Stabilize VPN, EKS Dev Platform, and Batch Reliability

Unstable VPN, a shared dev server, and limited observability are slowing the team down. We will stabilize access, move developer workloads to EKS with GitOps and autoscaling, and add monitoring and logging to speed up releases and troubleshooting.

Goals:

  • →Stabilize secure access (Client VPN tuning or Tailscale) with metrics and alerts
  • →Move GitHub runners and Jupyter to EKS with autoscaling and EFS
  • →Improve AWS Batch scheduling and observability (multi-region fallback, dashboards, alerts)

FinTech company in Remote, series-a-funded at the scaling stage. Work is remote. scale-up type project.

This is why we're looking for help:

The current VPN drops and hurts engineering productivity. A single shared server creates contention for notebooks and CI runners, and Batch jobs face spot shortages with weak visibility. The team needs a scalable platform, clear monitoring, and faster, more reliable job scheduling.
